Channel Islands Feb’s Fish

The Channel Islands Feb’s Fish, designed by Britt Merrick with Mikey February, is a modern interpretation of the classic traditional fish. Mikey sought to maintain the speed and fluidity of a fish, but by incorporating a contemporary bottom design, rocker, and refined rails to take its performance much further.

During its development, the Feb’s Fish showed a surprising range of use, performing in everything from powerful barrels and fast point breaks to small, weak waves. Its combination of speed, stability, and rail-to-rail capabilities allows for confident wide and tight turns, which sets it apart from a traditional fish.

To complete the design, Channel Islands developed the Britt Fish Fins (BFF), a new twin fin template situated between the BMT and AMK designs. Their balance of stability and drive provides smooth transitions and a fast, fluid feel during turns.
