Channel Islands Surfboards Goldie

The Channel Islands Goldie is designed to maximize tube time and offer security and control in powerful, fast, and demanding waves. Tested and developed by the Channel Islands team, it was the board used by Barron Mamiya in his 2024 and 2025 Pipe Pro victories.

Its more forward volume distribution, especially under the chest, increases paddling power, while the foil progressively thins out towards the tail to maintain stability and control when most needed. Its rocker is between that of the Happy Traveler and the CI Pro Step Up, seeking the perfect balance between down-the-line speed, drive, and control.

The Goldie is designed to be used as a step-up, approximately 2” longer than your usual shortboard. Barron Mamiya uses it in sizes between 6’2 and 6’8, adapting it to the conditions.
