The Sabo Taj by Lost Surfboards, developed by Mayhem in collaboration with Taj Burrow, is a versatile step-up board designed to perform in a huge variety of conditions. Updated in 2025, it was created with the idea of being an authentic travel board capable of handling practically all types of waves without needing a full quiver.
Its rocker is shifted back, with a low and fast entry that facilitates paddling and generates speed from the take-off. The curvier tail provides control and release for quick turns, while the concave underfoot provides lift and freedom.
The outline combines a wider nose with a narrower Round Pin tail, offering ease and stability in small waves along with the necessary grip in barrels and powerful waves.
