Channel Islands Surfboards Better Everyday

The Channel Islands Better Everyday is the evolution of the popular Happy Everyday, developed to take its ease of use and performance a step further. It retains the features that made the Happy Everyday an excellent step-down performance shortboard, but incorporates adjustments to the outline, rocker, and tail to offer greater fluidity and a wider range of conditions.

The more relaxed hip allows the board to be smoother from the bottom turn and perform better when waves increase slightly in size. The Swallow tail provides more grip and hold without losing the loose and fast feel characteristic of the model.

The increased tail flip frees up the board at the top of the wave, generating a more positive response on the lip. The design also incorporates five fin boxes, allowing it to be used as a thruster or quad. Britt Merrick specifically developed a quad fin set with more upright front fins and more raked rear fins to achieve a combination of speed, grip, and response.
