Channel Islands CI Mid

The Channel Islands CI Mid is a modern midlength inspired by classic egg and single fin designs, but reinterpreted with the precision and sensibility characteristic of Channel Islands' shapes. Developed in collaboration with Devon Howard, it combines easy paddling, trim speed, and an excellent ability to perform wide, fluid turns.

Its egg-like outline, low entry rocker, and slightly forward volume facilitate paddling and allow for quick planing speed. The double-barrel concave, progressive rocker, and hard, slightly tucked rails towards the tail provide speed, control, and surprisingly precise response for a midlength.

The CI Mid excels especially in medium-sized waves and point breaks, where it allows for long lines and wide, fluid, and powerful turns with great speed and control.
