The Mod Quad by Lost Surfboards, designed by Mayhem, is a modern performance quad created for enjoying all types of everyday conditions. Its goal is to combine the speed and drive of a quad with the maneuverability of a shortboard, especially in small, fast, and weak waves.
Its low overall rocker provides speed, while the deep single concave generates lift and acceleration. The curvier rail line facilitates turns, and the vee behind the rear fin adds grip and control, practically acting as an additional fin during maneuvers.
The wide, playful outline maintains a lot of planning surface, while the Swallow tail reduces surface area, provides pivot, and improves grip without losing speed.
